OKCMAR hosted the annual RPAC Major Investor event on March 20th at the Jones Assembly. The event was attended by OKCMAR members who were either a past RPAC Major Investor, OKCMAR leader, or top producer. The goal was to increase the number of major investors to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
Thanks to a generous group of attendees, we saw five new $1,000 investors help grow OKCMAR’s numbers to 32 Major Investors so far this year! This put OKCMAR on target to reach the goal of 40 new Major Investors for 2018.
The investment of Major Investors in RPAC is key to the profession, with the interest of the REALTORS® effectively represented. While each OKCMAR member is asked to donate their $20 to RPAC, not everyone does. Thanks to our Major Investors, the difference is accounted for to ensure what needs to be done is done.
