Urban Land Institute Oklahoma Site Tour: Sustainable Developments

ULI Oklahoma Site Tour: Sustainable Developments

Thursday, September 19, 2019
Tulsa, Oklahoma

TIME: 5:30-7:00pm
ADDRESS: 640 N. Denver Ave, Tulsa, 74106

At the heart of our mission, ULI Oklahoma is committed to exploring issues of urbanization, conservation, regeneration, and sustainable development. Join us September 19th as we tour two upcoming Tulsa area projects designed for sustainability (original tour rained out this past spring – if you previously registered, please email, there is no need to register again):

Living Building Challenge Project

What if every single act of design and construction made the world a better place? The Living Building Challenge is the world’s most rigorous proven performance standard for buildings. People from around the world use this regenerative design framework to create spaces that, like flowers, give more than they take.

Rammed Earth House

Once people learn about rammed earth and step foot in a rammed earth structure, they understand why it just makes sense. Whether it’s the minimal maintenance exteriors, the clean air inside, the sturdiness of 18″ thick solid walls, the gorgeous texture of the rammed earth or one of the many other unique benefits, rammed earth creates an unforgettable impression for all who experience it.

Following the tours we will retire to the Prairie Brew Pub for more discussion.

Members: $10

Non-Members: $15
