Even though the coronavirus is keeping us apart, political advocacy has not stopped. So neither have we! The past month has proven the importance of RPAC. Thanks to the work and investments that have been made over the past 50 years, REALTORS® and their clients were the beneficiary of important provisions in key legislation and policies.
Because of the coronavirus, OKCMAR members will not descend on the OKCMAR office on April 30th from 9 am to noon. Instead, it will be completely virtual as they will call members who have not invested in RPAC for 2020. If you fall into that group, you can avoid a call by making your investment before April 27th. You’ll be all set for the year!
Remember, when we combine our dollars in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), we can make a difference in the industry and elect politicians who believe in Oklahoma’s real estate industry. We have proven it time and time again with legislations like the CARES ACT and other government policy wins that include getting REALTORS® on the essential business list. That is what makes our political action committee one of the most influential in the country.

The OKCMAR membership has already positively responded to the call to invest in RPAC. We are already at 60% of our fundraising goal for 2020. It would be nice to get it knocked out at the Internet Phone-A-Thon. Let’s unite on April 30th and make it happen!
